If fact, there is so much great content out there, you could easily spend all your time reading and never actually get anything done. For that reason, it’s important to ration the amount and type of information you take in on a daily basis in order to maximize learning AND productivity. Pat Flynn’s Smart Passive Income
Pat Flynn is an internet marketing legend. He has been pulling in what most people would consider to be a healthy “full time” income from his internet marketing endeavors since 2008. Last month, he earned over 44k, primarily from affiliate marketing. He writes extremely detailed income reports every month, which are interesting and downright fun to read. Chris Guthrie’s Make Money On The Internet
This isn’t the first time Chris Guthrie has been mentioned on this site. He was featured on our list of the Top 5 Most Successful Amazon Associates (check it out if you haven’t already read it). Chris is young. Really young…which makes his accomplishments to date that much more impressive. His blog is one of the richest sources of information for affiliate marketers you will ever find, especially for those of us promoting Amazon products.
Paula & Wanda’s Affiliate Blog Online
This dynamic duo from down under maintains one of the most popular affiliate marketing blogs, and they focus specifically on Amazon.com niche marketing, which is why we love them. I can’t believe they give away so much great info for free. They are an example of what it takes to be successful as an Amazon affiliate marketer, and we can all learn a lot from their techniques. Check out their blog, and if you really want to kick start your business, you should consider buying their course, The Amazonian Profit Plan, one of the best training courses available for Amazon Associates.
Matt Carter’s Affiliate Marketing Blog
Matt Carter is a full time Australian internet marketer who specializes in affiliate marketing. He has developed several of his own products, including his extremely popular Rapid Profit Formula course that explains how to build profitable niche websites. Matt believes in ethical business practices and often writes about the power of adding real value for your readers or visitors. Bookmark his blog and make sure to check it often for great affiliate marketing tips.
Geno is an expert on affiliate marketing and the pros and cons of various affiliate programs. He stays on top of important topics like the “Amazon Tax” law, which is why he is a regular and respected speaker at many of the big marketing conferences around the world. Geno goes way beyond marketing with Amazon and provides examples and explanations of all kinds of affiliate marketing websites, which makes his blog a great resource for us Amazon Associates to learn a few new tricks.
As a little bonus, here are three more that you may not have heard of because they aren’t a popular (yet) but are also full of great content for Amazon Associates:
This is the blog of Eric, a 25-year-old CPA from Chicago who is striving to achieve the coveted Tim Ferris lifestyle by generating passive income via internet marketing. Although not quite as established as the sites mentioned above, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Murlu is a relatively new blog-style website created by Murray Lunn, an internet marketer on his way to financial freedom who focuses on building Amazon websites and writing PLR articles. His advice is sound, and his always conversational, often informal and sometimes profane communication style makes his posts a lot of fun to read. We expect his blog to gain a lot of popularity over the next few months and years.
The IM Runner was created by Keith Lee, a man who built a successful internet marketing business a few years ago but stopped working on it to deal with his wife’s health complications. You can read his moving story here. He is back in the game now and has decided to focus on Amazon marketing. His posts are extremely transparent and detailed, and you can learn a lot from his blog.
So there you have it. These are all great blogs and resources for Amazon affiliate marketers like yourself. Between all of these sites, you really don’t need any expensive courses to get started and learn how to build and rank niche websites. Just remember, this business is about doing, not learning, so make sure to implement the techniques you read about, and limit your knowledge intake to one or two hours each day!
